My husband and I travel around the eastern US, entering bass tournaments all summer long. KY Lake is well known for its excellent bass fishing, and we have been staying at KY Lake Cabins for about 10 yrs. It is considered a very convenient location for tournaments based out of nearby Paris Landing. Organizers of the many big-name tourneys highly recommend this resort to their members. The owners are the best! and go out of their way to ensure their cabins and property are in top condition. They allow us to check-in at all hours of the day and nite if rooms are available which is SO nice, since us fishermen get up at 4am and might not get back til 10 pm. There's plenty of parking, outside outlets for battery charging, full-size stoves and refrigerators and microwaves, not the little apartment-sized things that some other resorts have, carpeted bedrooms, NICE beds (we have never heard anyone comment otherwise), flatscreen satelite tvs, and very quiet so we can get our much-needed sleep. The only reason I didnt give them 5-stars for Amenities is because they dont have an on-site restaurant, but there are plenty of handy places within 5 or 10 minutes. Thank you, S.L.

There's another review of this KY Lake Cabins Resort which is quite unfortunate since the writer seems quite confused. There are two KY Lake Cabin Resorts, one in TN and one in KY! The one referred to in that review is obviously NOT the one we go to in Tennessee, because it's a fantastic little place at the end of their road which ends at the lake. I was astounded when I read the erroneous review and had to set things straight. A bunch of buddys and I get together to play golf and fish and have been returning every year for the last 18 years. The owners are wonderful people who love seeing all the returning customers, and they take great pleasure in maintaining their immaculate cabins and professionally landscaped grounds. The big 3-story Lodge that sleeps a dozen people is, I think, the largest one on the lake anywhere near here, and the kitchenette cabins come stocked with every amenity you could need, and are great for smaller groups. The place wins awards for all the flower gardens around the 3 or 4 gorgeous acres which are covered with awesome massive trees. They have a beautiful swimming pool and a huge playground area, big enuf to chip some golf balls! The Chamber of Commerce and local newspapers have often recommended the place as one of the cleanest, nicest, most economical resorts in the county. Actually we originally found the resort online after the Chamber did an article about it. Besides the great fishing and boating in their bay, they cater to weddings, school and church retreats and family reunions. My bunch of people come from 5 different states every year to stay for 7 or 8 days! We are often impressed by the upkeep on the cabins. We see every few yrs. that they get new carpeting, new appliances, new paint, and a few more flowers! LOL, it's just beautiful, and so quiet that most of the time all you hear is birds! So take it from a diehard customer.... the KY Lake Cabins Resort by Paris TENNESSEE is a gem!

This place falsely advertises first of all. On their website it shows a nice looking cabin. Which they do have. But the cabin that we got looked like one of those pre made storage buildings you buy at Lowe's. The inside needs to be ripped out and redone. The mattresses were horrible, by the 2nd night we all had back problems. The toilet would back up so we constantly had issues. We were supposed to stay one more night and we didnt. The property is for sale but still they need to make sure stuff works and living area is liveable. We won't be back
