DON’T use this place without a FIRM bid in writing! If they refuse, leave! Other places will give a firm bid. I took 2 cylinders off my mower and took them in and asked for a bid. I had already received a $60 estimate from another person. The guy there estimated it would take an hour and they charge $60 per hour.

The following day I received a call they were ready. I asked, “any trouble”? “None at all” was the reply. A different guy was at the counter when I went to pick up. I handed him a $100 bill and he gave me back $10. I asked for the additional change for $30. He, after probably 10 minutes, printed out a receipt that showed labor of one hour and $90. That’s why it took him so long . . . He was changing the bill from $60 to $90. I ask where was the guy that was there yesterday that agreed the charge would be $60 for one hour? Then the guy changed his story and said it really was 2 1/2 hours and he knocked it down. I was pretty sure the guy that was doing the lying was the owner. I will never go back . . .crooks!
