I highly recommend all of classes and services at Dynamic Body. I have been taking yoga classes and receiving massage therapy there for a number of years and find the teachers and massage therapists to all be the utmost professionals. Sally and Abby are excellent with both beginning yoga as well as yoga for athletes and yoga for people who practice the art regularly. Both teachers are mindful and help you achieve your health and fitness goals. Carrie is a truly professional massage therapist as well. She communicates well and has helped relieve muscle tension and stress so I can continue to enjoy sports at the level I enjoy. Dynamic Body and the people associated with them have all been first rate.

I have been going to Dynamic body since it opened several years ago. The instructors and staff are friendly and professional. I have enjoyed all of my experiences at Dynamic Body and would recommend it highly to anyone. It offers a variety of programs and small classes for all skill levels.

The Instruction and equipment are excellent, the staff is warm and friendly, and the facilities are well maintained and comfortable. I would NOT go anywhere else!

Dynamic Body is the place to b...

Dynamic Body is the place to be for a truly balanced body. They offer a wide variety of programs and have a scheduling system that will fit almost anyone's schedule. The trainers are exceptional and are well versed in anatomy and physiology. They continue to attend workshops to refresh their current skills, develop new skills and keep up on new programs. The classes are small so they can be tailored to meet your individual needs. Best of all it's a fun, friendly atmosphere where the staff goes out of their way to make you feel you're part of a close knit family.

Let me start by saying I have ...

Let me start by saying I have never been to this place, I sent a loved one there with the promise they would receive a wonderful experience. I am embarassed and ashamed that this person's first massage experience had to be with Carrie Lorentz.

I had a gift certificate, already pain in full, for a Ms. Carrie Lorentz. The appointment was a surprise Christmas present for somebody who had never had any type of professionial massage treatment. On the day that the appointment was due, I completely lost track of time and missed it. It was a serious mistake, and I called Ms. Lorentz within 30 minutes of the missed appointment and apologized several times. When I asked if I could reschedule, her response was "I don't know, I am a little 'miffed', I will get back to you after the holidays." I asked her what day I should expect a call back and she told me Tuesday. I dislike disappointing people and after the "miffed" comment I spent the next couple of days feeling terrible.

It was friday when I missed the appointment. Two weeks later, I had still received no response. At this point in time, I told the gift recipient what had happened and that a new appointment would be scheduled asap. He was very understanding and felt it would be best if he called back, apologized on my behalf, and resecheduled. Over 14 days after the initial screw-up on my part, he called her back and made a new appointment. He was polite and apologized for my mistake for messing up the situation in the first place. At the end of the conversation, Ms. Lorentz commented "Don't be late this time." Having worked in the food industry for over 7 years, I know that mistakes happen and you should always aim to please the customer. I find this exceedingly unprofessionial.

He attended the appointment and found the massage relaxing. Afterwards, he was asked for the gift certificate. Being new to this type of treatment, he had left the gift certificate at home. When he told Ms. Lorentz this, her response was "You're in a lot of trouble, you're in quite the pickle."

Because of my experience in the service industry, I completely understand this response. However, all the relaxtion he had gained was immediately lost. He ended up calling me to find out the date of purchase for the certificate and the name it was purchased under. After everything was verified, she accepted the certificate and he tipped her $15 (he had no tipping experience with this type of treatment and I told him to tip her well because I had initially forgotten the first appointment in the first place).

When I explained that you tip based on service, he was even more apalled that he had given money to someone who had been so unprofessionial about a simple mistake. If you want a good massage from Ms. Lorentz, don't miss your appointment. If you do, do not expect a "sorry" to fix matters. I will not reccomend anyone to this massage professional again. However, I feel that the Dynamic Body still deserves a second chance and its success should not reflect on this individual alone.
