Provided by YPmobileI was in the emerncgy room for a finger injury and the doctor that they sent me to said that if it wasn't broken I didn't need an appointment so I called somebody else and you know I had a broken bone
The first doctor had a mean office the one that Baystate sent me to

Provided by YP.comWow, I feel kind of bad but I think it is important that I write this review. My daughter needs frequent medical care because of her genetic disorder. We have only been to baystate twice (over the course of a month or so- we are new to town), but the first time the nurse did not wear gloves when handling my daughter's blood, and she did not flush her IV line after her infusion. The last time we went, they hung a DOUBLE DOSE of her medication, which could have led to kidney damage or anaphylactic shock had I not questioned it. Even after questioning it, the nurses brushed me off repeatedly, until I insisted that they double check the orders.
I highly recommend using another hospital if possible. Otherwise, insist on gloves and double check the medications! The doctors here are great- the nurses seem like they need a refresher course or something. I am a nurse myself, so I have a really hard time writing something negative about my colleagues, but I feel it is important that people know about our experience.
I will say it again- make sure you know the the treatments you were prescribed, and make sure you are receiving the correct medication and dosage!!!!!!!!!

Provided by YP.comMy mother stayed in the cancer unit three times and each time had a horrible experience. The nurses did not respond to her bell when she had to use the restroom, when she had questions and even when her machines were beeping due to low battery. Her recent stay was the worse, the nurses talking down to her, giving her attidute when she needed assistance , my grandmother having to call my house because they wouldnt take her to the bathroom and packing her wound vac up in a box with blood, and whatever else came out of her wound sending it home with her as if it was clean.
