OLD AND RUN DOWN

Gerber Management really need to take some of the money they are ripping off people and fix the place up, Screen their tenants a little bit more, and Listen to their tenants that live there. Georgetown apartments are soooo run down. The amenities that they do offer don't work.... like washer/dryer dishwasher central air and refrigerator . So whats left is a over priced west side project . My apartment was broken into 1 time while living out there when I advised the LANDLORD DIANE GERBER she asked what was stolen when I told her she said and I quote "SO THEY DIDNT GET MUCH IT WAS PROBABLY JUST A KID" Hmmmmm that's not what you tell someone. Heat in 2nd bedroom didn't work I had just had a kid and Diane told me that the baby could sleep in the room with me ....Well I was paying for a 2 bedroom correct? Her staff walked in whenever they felt like it to "Check for water leaks" keep in mind that no one called in about. Hmmmmm When I explained to her that I didn't feel safe with it she comment well its my property and we are allowed to come ...Had to remind her only if its a emergency. I changed locks because they continued to come in she then got very upset and said that she needed a key incase there is a FIRE . Keep in mind most fire departments don't use keys when there is BLAZING FIRE to gain entry to your apartment. When I went out to the office to complain she threaten to call the cops on me because she there trying to convince another SUCKER to move into the property so I was hindering that I guess. She took me to court when I moved out Keep in mind not on any lease and stated that I was behind in rent and I had tore up the apartment. She had changed the locks while I was still moving and she Kept my 36inch tv along with other items . I would advise anyone considering this apartment to really rethink this place.....IM TELLING YOU THIS IS A WEST SIDE P R O J E C T.........YOU WOULD PROBABLY HAVE A BETTER CHANCE MOVING INTO POPULAR PLACE APARTMENT ....AT LEAST EVERYTHING IS UPDATED INSIDE AND A/C WORKS

Georgetown Apartments

I agree with the review from 8-11-11. I was new to the area and had been looking for a house to rent for over 5 months. I had to finally settle for an apartment. I knew this was not my cup of tea when I did the walk through. This place is way over priced, one would expect more for the $800.00 in rent. They don't care about the tenets that live in the back whatsoever. The place is always flooded for days after a hard rain. You have to call for some type of repair about every two to three weeks on average and they take their dear sweet time getting to you. The parking is terrible and you run the risk of your car getting dinged by other tenets car doors. The police officer that get's free rent for watching out around the complex is a joke. The kids in this complex run around all summer long destroying people's property. They may as well let you have pet's because everything and everybody from all over Springfield is in and out of the complex all day. The swimming pool is a big problem also, I see kids from all over coming in to swim. I've had to break-ins and several attempts. I can't wait until my lease is up so that I can get the HELL out of here, this has truly been a night mare.

CoupleVeryPleased.

My wife and I have been very please with Rosemore Apartments. Any time we have had a problem, they have come immediately to repair it. The apartment is well built, well maintained, and the management has been nothing but friendly, courteous, and helpful. You can never please EVERYONE, but our experience has been very positive.

Greedy greedy people

This apartment complex is run by one of the most greedy women in Springfield. She is dishonest and a fraud. She is an outright liar to her clients. All for money. She mistakes her tenants as misinformed dopes who have no clue they are being taken advantage of. It's disappointing that someone can be so about money but meet her for 2 mins and this is obvious. Highly Not recommended

Way Overpriced- Old and appliances rundown

I moved into this apartment complex a few months ago and I have been very disappointed in it. I was knew to Springfield and I didn't have very much knowledge on nice safe areas to live and bad ones. I looked at several complexes and ended up choosing rosemore west because my first choice was full and this looked like a safe neighborhood and complex, which it is. However, after moving in I have noticed that the apartment is kind of run down and almost none of my appliances work right, including the dish washer, washer, dryer, and hot water heater. They did come fix my water heater after I complained about it but it took some time and the maintance man left a little bit of a mess behind him. Also, when I moved in they gave me 2 garage door openers- 1 the battery was already dead in and the other died 2 days later. My experiance with the office staff and owner have been that they are a little rude and a lot unfiendly. In conclusion It is way way overpriced and if I hadn't signed a y

Owner

Cabinets were recleaned & repainted for this tenant & seemed to be satisfied since we never heard back. This tenant also requested a pet & was reminded that her lease stated no pets were allowed & seemed upset by this decision.

Caution to potential renters

I would highly discourage anyone from renting any of this owners apartments. I moved into one of the apartments and my cabinets had mold in them previous to me moving in. The cabinets smelled awful and the owner really did nothing to correct the problem. Some of my food and Tupperware was ruined by the smell. I have been highly disappointed with these apartments. I would not recommend that any one rent here.
