Provided by YP.comDo NOT eat here! A few weeks ago, I went through the drive thru and ordered a veggie burger. I received my food and, because this store always has a problem getting my order right, I always check to make sure my food is correct before eating. On this occasion, I pulled the top bun off and what did I see? A half-rotten, half-black tomato and a WORM. Clearly whoever put this sandwich together should have noticed the black, rotted tomato immediately even if the worm somewhat blended in. However, I saw the worm immediately upon looking at the sandwich. I drove back to burger king, and not wanting to cause a scene inside, I went through the drive thru, honked my horn, and explained the situatoin. The man at the window did not say one word to me, he took the bag of food, gave me cash back and then walked away. No "I am so sorry", "I will look into this immediately", nothing.
I called and lodged a complaint. I did receive a call back from the Store manager who left me a voicemail. It appears she is only available to talk when I am not. I have not received a call or an email from anyone else at Burger King regarding this incident, and this happened several weeks ago. Honestly, this incident happened under the store manager's supervision. I don't want to speak with her about it. I want to talk to someone who she reports to.
In addition to the worm incident, on another occassion, I ordered a veggie burger add onion through the drive-thru. The car ahead of me in the drive-thru hands their small soda back to the lady at the window with the straw in it, and it is replaced with a Med. I pull up to the window 5 seconds later, and I am almost certain, that I was given the returned soda, with the straw simply removed. Anyways, the lady asks me, " you wanted onion on your veggie burger, right?" I say yes, she hollars back to the kitchen to put onions on it. I get my food and go back to work. When I open up my sandwich, it is a chicken patty with onion, not a veggie burger. (I don't eat chicken!) So I call Burger King and am told I have two options, bring it back and they will correct the order or give me my money back, or give them my name and I can get a free meal next time. I explained neither of those options were acceptable, and asked the manager to void out the charge on my debit card. She explains she can't do this, I have to come back in to get my money. I, however, know she is capable of doing this. After about two more minutes of back and forth, she finally voids out the transaction so my card isn't charged.
In any event, this store gets ZERO stars in my opinion and should be shut down. Burger King should be ashamed to have such a faciltiy.
