As I have previously done business with A & B Printing in the past, and their work was satisfactory and completed within a reasonable period of time, I became a repeat customer, and continued to give them my business. The service I received this last time I placed a printing order with them was a far cry from any of my previous visits. I dropped off my order, fully expecting for them to call me within a few days to say that it was ready for pick-up (it's a relatively small order). However, WEEKS went by with NO call!!! ??? So I called them to find out the status of my order. I was told that they were short staffed, and had received a large order (apparently LARGE orders trump relatively small orders there!) They then told me not to call them, that they would call when my order was ready. I repair/restore old clocks, and the longer I was being put off, meant the longer MY customers were being put off! I finally drove to the place of business today to find out the status of my order. I was told that "they had started on my order today, but one of their employees didn't show up." Hmmmmmm, likely story... I explained to them that my customers were very unhappy for the delay in completing their work, and that I was unable to do so until I received my completed order! I asked for a deadline in which it would be done, today? tomorrow? Wednesday? They could not solidly commit to a date, so I walked out of there with the materials I had brought there nearly a month ago! In my opinion, after the inexcusable delay in completing my order, they should have accommodated me right then and there and completed my printing order (which would have taken LESS than 10 minutes!) So much for being a VALUED repeat customer! I guess I am "dispensable" in their eyes. They apparently don't live by the adage "The customer always comes first!" I took my business to another print shop here in Springfield, who was more than happy to have my business! I will NOT be returning to A & B Printing.
