I used to actually LOVE this office, but now its a different story. When I called today to try and get an emergency appointment for my son and I was told "Your child is not welcome here because he is exempt of immunizations, and your daughter isn't welcomed here as well." (even though she is up to date on her immunizations) and was promptly hung up on. Funny thing is I found a doctor who was just as qualified and his response to me was "Your medical decisions for your child are your business. We won't force anything upon you and we certainly won't turn you away when you are in need of medical help"

NEVER, and I mean will I EVER suggest this practice to ANYONE! No one deserves to be talked down to like I was talk down on today. I honestly hope that any representative from the practice can see this review and will be able to change their practices accordingly.

I highly recommend these doctors

They are great with my children and they listen and take the time to answer any questions or concerns I may have. It's a 45 minute drive for us but it is worth it.

This is a HORRIBLE pediatrician's office! They're completely rude and impersonal. Their only interest is getting your money. I'd list all of the troubles they've put us through, but once again, Hometown Pediatrics would be wasting my time. Save your money and go somewhere they actually care for your child.

would not recommend.

I would not recommend these doctors by any means. I feel that these doctors main concern is not the well being of your children, but of making money, and getting your in their office as many times as possible. They do not ever offer to call anything in for your child, even if the child was in their only days before with the same symptoms and hasn't had any change, they want you back in. If your child is sick with something contagious, you are going to have to bring them all in for treatment, they will not offer to give them meds if they get the same sickness, even though they are all patients of the doctor. They do not bring your childs chart in when they come into the room to see you, so if you are in and out for the same thing, they won't know unless you tell them. I had a child sick during flu season, went in with symptoms, they did not do a flu test for whatever reason, got a call from a friend who's child was diagnosed with the flu, called my office because they never tested my child for that, I had to go back in, and even though they should have tested for it the day before, they charged an entire office visit again, and I was hit with another co-pay. They do not do any blood work in their office, do not do lab work either, my child is 11 months old and they have never done a hearing screne, or vision check, I do not believe that they do any of this in office. I was also told that they don't have an x-ray maching either, so if your child needs their lungs x-rayed that all has to be done at another location, for another fee. Its very costly to use them because when you need some other test done, you have to go somewhere else, and its a one more charge. In my opinion pediatricians are supposed to be "specialists", thats why they charge so much for an office visit, then they should be able to perform these tasks in office. I am currently in the process of changing doctors offices.
