I've been going to Vickie for my haircuts for years. Being a retired Marine I really like the atmosphere. It's an old time type barber shop with Marine Corps memorabilia all over the place. Vickie and Eddy are ALWAYS friendly and give great haircuts. They always remember me and things we've talked about. It's the place for me.

For the second time I did not have a good experience at Vicki's Haircuts. The first time I went (about a year ago) the proprietor was not happy I wanted my kid's haircut 1/2 hour before closing. I can understand that, maybe she was tired. She did a great job anyway. Today the gentleman cutting hair today informed me, very rudely, that Vicki was out sick and he "doesn't touch kid's or women's hair". I asked if he could just trim her bangs, surely he could help me out? She's 2 and her hair has gotten quite unruly. He wouldn't hear of it. I understand if his specialty is men's hair, but he didn't need to be so rude about it. This is not what I was expecting from a place that 'Calls customers by name'. -Sorely disappointed, again
