On 5/13/2016 I bought a 2013 Chrysler van from Universal Sales and Service, 6321 N Helena St., Spokane, WA 99217. I paid the full cash price. Kerry Hunka, the owner, told me I would have the title in 2-3 weeks. I still don't have it after 90 days of receiving the run-around, alibies, lies, excuses and deceptions. I checked with the county and Mr. Hunka never paid the use tax on this car; which was included in the money I gave him. It turns out he is doing this with other cars - selling them and not paying the state sales tax. One of the Universal employees told me this and that they are going to file bankruptcy. Do not do business with this company, they will lie and cheat you. Jim White

A friend purchased a van a little over a year ago and it broke down, they then gave them a loaner van that broke down. we took the loaner van back and wanted our original van back but what a shocker, its not fixed yet. we then got another loaner van...it wouldnt start... its now been close to a year and a half and i still dont have the van we orginally bought and the loaner van starts occasionally. I have asked for my money back so we could use a professional company and get a reliable vehicle but they refused and i have also asked for copies of our contract and paperwork and they have claimed that they have lost it. At a loss for what to do.

WORST Customer Service EVER!!!!I brought a 2001 T&C, and the car broke down on me within a year. The transmission Crack at the bottom of the car, dues to poor inspection. I mean when you first purchase the car, they were very nice about everything, but if there is something wrong, they try to give you many excuses and make up stories to get their way out. They say they will help you solve the problem, but I waited over 2 months nothing happen. no calls, nothing. WORST dealer EVER. NEVER GO there. I suggest you buy your car from a different dealer, even though you have to pay a higher price.........

Universal has definitely gone above and beyond when it came to helping me with the purchase of my car. These people are very kind and courteous and I cannot say a bad thing about them.

I have purchased several cars from a variety of lots but this is the worst experience I've ever had. The owner is all salesman and promises to stand behind what he sells, but that's as far as it goes. Don't expect any "service" after you walk out the door. If they've promised repairs before you pick up the van, don't sign anything until a real mechanic checks it out. Their mechanic claims to have fixed things but there's little evidence that he's ever lifted the hood, other than bending our wiper blades then charging us for new ones that he never installed. We made two payments and they misplaced both of them. Because of the awful service we decided to pay off the van immediately and was given the wrong payoff amount twice. There's a piling system, not a filing system. You wait an hour for them to finish a simple transaction because their manager is constantly trying to put out fires and doesn't focus on the customer in front of her for more than a minute or two at a time. UNPROFESSIONAL

The customer service at universal is unsurpassed!! My mother has bought almost every mini-van she has owned there over the last 14 or so years. The one time she didn't she got taken to the cleaners!

Their customer service is amazing and their prices are phenominal as well. Plus they are honest, and that never happens in the used car world:) I have known several other people who have purchased their cars there and always happy results! They help work with your budget and circumstance and get you the most reliable and clean car possible.



Can't say enough about them, A+++!
