Yesterday I needed bark delivered for our playground inspection. The company we had ordered it from had broken down trucks. When I called beauty bark they didn't carry the type of chips I needed but they offered to go pick up my load and deliver for their competitor. And I had my deliver in time to install it for my inspection. So impressed with the customer service. Thank you.

I'm surprised to read the next two reviews. I've been buying manure and garden soil from these guys for YEARS. Not once have I experienced anything remotely like that, but they are old school and have been around a long time. It's folksy and fun and give great service. You almost think you were at a farm talking to a farmer and his wife. The thing is, they aren't going to have much patience with snotty, overindulged, spoiled, or entitled attitudes. If you don't treat them with respect, they'll throw you right out of the yard. Personally, I like that. I see and hear those attitudes all the time these days, except Home Depot or Lowe's employees can't tell rude, disrespectful customers to get out of their store. By the way, I've also purchased their bark. I'm not a professional landscaper but I'm damned good with flowers, trees and vegetables. Never had a problem. One would think a "professional landscaper" wouldn't need to call a soil vendor to find out what his problem is. It's, like, his job. Anyway ... DO shop these guys.

I have never seen worst customer service! A customer was told directly "we don't need your business" Sad; this is a landscaper that WOULD have been a loyal customer for years to come!



So bypass this company as "they don't need customers"

I'm planning on buying some mulch from this business and am dismayed by the 3 star rating because of the directions listed on Dex being inaccurate. How does one knowingly hurt a business with a 3 star rating because of the location of the driveway?

We called to inquire about plants dying within 24 hours of applying the bark. How rude and unprofessional was the reply we got. We didn't demand anything just wanted to see what they had to say. My husband has been a landscaper and now a facility maintance person for a corp. and we had never had seen this before. We have hundreds of dollars worth of plants burnt and dying. The lawn is brown all around the edge of the flowers beds and their reply was the dogs peed on it. I guess my dogs should be on America's got Talent.

Way we will never buy there again. Our recommendation is that you take a ph balance before you lay bark purchased from this vendor. They have never heard of this condition before so I guess it doesn't exist except to the professionals.
