I went to Art Van for a bedroom set in May. I was told it wound not be in until early June. In early June , I received a call stating there would be a two week delay. I receive a call around June 20th telling me all my items are in. I went in and paid the balance . I was not ready for delivery but was told that me paying for them would protect them from being given to someone else. Unfortunately that was not true. When I called to set up delivery, I was told 3 pieces were out of stock , even though they have been paid for.
The computer released them so they were sold to others. So know I have spent 2K on a bedroom set that I can’t get all of the pieces to. What good is a headboard if you have sold the rails to someone else.
Very disappointed; unethical.

I ordered bedroom furniture from Art Van which required assembly. Art Van did not deliver the furniture when scheduled. When they finally did deliver it, not all the parts were delivered that were necessary to assemble it. They committed to several dates for delivering the needed parts and completing the installation. Two months later I still had unassembled furniture in my house. I went up to the store and requested a refund. First they tried to tell me that the purchase was two months old and that a refund would not be given. They wanted me to do an exchange, but they had no other comparable furniture for sale. They then refused to give me a refund until they picked up the furniture, as though I would accept a refund and still keep the product. Then they were in no hurry to pick up the furniture, I suspect so that they could delay giving me a refund. DO NOT do business with Art Van.
