PLAN HOURS TO WAIT My Dr sent in a prescription at 1:23 on a Sunday afternoon, knowing CVS would need time to fill it, I did a few errands and stopped in at 2:45 - should be ready right? NOT!!! The clerk at Pick Up couldn't find me in the computer - I'm told to go to "Drop Off" window and see them. After some confusion over my name the prescription is entered and I'm told to take a seat. I wait, and wait and wait.... It's not like they are terribly busy. 3 people dropped off prescriptions. 2 people move through the pick up/payment line... All the while the pharmacist is having some lengthy personal discussion with an off-duty employee behind the counter. I continue to wait - 20 minutes go by. 30 minutes since I've entered the store for this prescription. I wait... Finally they call my name Great Right? NOT!! No one had checked to see if I had insurance or if they had the correct insurance information. I'm charged full price. When I ask for a correction and provide my insurance card (which hasn't changed since my last prescription was filled) I'm told to take a seat and wait again... 10 more minutes go by while the Pharmacist fiddles around correcting the paperwork. I finally am called again, pick up my prescription, and exit the store. 50 MINUTES FOR ONE PRESCRIPTION WHICH WAS SENT IN HOURS BEFORE!! Don't bother with CVS...Walgreens is 1/2 mile down Main St.
