Horrible customer service. They "fixed" a leaky pipe in my sons room prior to me purchasing a home. I called to inform them that there was no heat in the room and the response I received was that the job was done for a friend and they would not come out and fix their work. Someone else came, showed me where they fixed one area, left 2 more leaky areas and shut off the valve so that it passed inspection...but they only shut off one valve so one area has been leaking the entire time. Horrible, rude and I will never use, or recommend to anyone.

Came to my home to give me quote on kitchen floor installation. Man was here 5 minutes, didn't even go down in cellar to check condition of subfloor. Then told me in quote I needed new subfloor when he didn't even check it. Then in email reply to me insulted my home because he didn't like the fact I took him to task on his lack of inspection of my floor before giving me quote. People think I am going to take their word as gospel without doing research.

Dishonest business. I hired him to replace my garbage disposal. He strongly recommended me not to buy from Home Depot, because they sell low quality products, but let him get a really good unit for me. He brought the cheapest garbage disposal from Home Depot (on sale for $60 at the time) and charged me $205 for that plus the installation cost. When I compared the serial numbers and confronted him, his answer was (I kid you not) that even though it is the same serial number, his garbage disposal has better inside parts, because he bought it from a trusted supplier. Of course, he could not produce receipt from the supplier. Stay away from this guy and save yourself some trouble.

The company responded very fast to my service request. I have to admit that they had the lowest price. The guys that installed the water heater were a little rough around the edges, with swearing up and down. Thank God I did not have my little daughter around. The did not clean up at all, and brought the outside mud all inside my house. For some reason they were messing with the washing machine, and i figured out that they were testing the new water heater. The next day, when I tried to turn on the washing machine, I noticed that the water was turned off. Once I turned on the water, I immediately noticed that the water was leaking. There is also something else that I was extremely disappointed with the company. After they installed the water heater they told me that they had to do some extra work, which is fair enough. The problem is that they did not tell me that they charged me an additional one hundred dollars. Since I paid with a credit card, I called at the end of the day to confirm the amount of $860, and the company confirmed that the amount that they were going to charge my Credit Card was going to be $860. A couple of days later i receive an invoice with a charge of 860, and some chicken scratch that I cannot understand written on the middle of the paper. Than I saw a Credit Card receipt of $960. Extremely disappointed. No one ever told me of the extra $100 charge, even after I called to confirm. My wife called the owner to discuss the extra unauthorized charges and the water leak. The response was that the technicians had told me a detailed billing, which they had not. The owner also said that they had not used the washing machine, which I know they had cause I was only a few feet away from them. In conclusion, not only they did not provide an explanation for the issues, but they basically called myself and my wife a liar. Next time that I will decide to spend close to $1,000 I will choose a company that actually respects its customers. Thanks a lot W. B. Dickenson! You taught me a good lesson.

I called Dickenson Plumbing for an estimate on having a toilet removed from the upstairs bathroom and brough downstairs and installed. The downstairs toilet had to go! The young man that came was wonderful. He handled the job in record time and was very congenial and very professional and NO one could beat the price! It's a family business and that was great to know. It's a very pleasant change from the "sharks" out there that not only overcharge, but their work is inferior. I highly recommend Dickenson plumbing to anyone who wants a great price, personalized service and a job well done! AAAA+ all the way around!
