Called Summit Shutters today (11/19/2012) on a Warranty Issue for some parts from Shutters I had installed seven years ago in 2005 (approximately 35 windows, including doors). The company that represented Summit Shutters was out of business, so I called Summit direct. Without question, they offered to send the needed parts at no cost and offered to give some instruction on how to do the repair if I needed any assistance. I was impressed with how they handled the call and the customer service given!

Beware - I was given a written quote in May and called back last week to confirm that the quote was the same. I was told that they would honor the price. Today when I called to schedule an appointment to confirm measurements, I was told that the price went up and that they don't remember the conversation. I would say very unprofessional!
