Waterous Company manufactures a complete line of vehicle mounted fire pumps, portable and engine driven pumps and compressed air foam systems. It also provides a variety of accessories, including discharge and intake valves, relief valves and priming systems. Its pumps range in capacity from 100 GPM to 2250 GPM and pressures are available up to 1000 PSI. Waterous Company was founded in 1844 as the Waterous Engine Works Company. It was purchased in 1989 and remmains a wholly-owned subsidiary of American Cast Iron Pipe Company. In 1991, the company was merged with American Darling Valve to form American Flow Control. Waterous is headquartered in South Saint Paul, Minn.
