Went in there for an annual physical with Dr Sojourner. Normally annual physical should be completely free if you have an insurance and the Dr can code it right as preventative. But I end up with more than $900 in debt all because Dr submit my mammogram order as medical.



The mammogram order were give out during the annual physical and it is should be just a regular routine check. I told her I haven't had mammogram for couple years and Dr didn't inform me that this should be anything different other than a regular routine check. Then why does Dr code it as Medical not preventative? Because of the wrong coding my insurance won't pay the mammogram bill and I end of with the bill.



Call the Dr. office multiple time, after 2 weeks finally someone answer the phone said it should code as preventative and will resubmit the order. More than a month go by after that, nothing were resubmit to the insurance, so I went down to the office, the front desk only give me a phone number to call. I call the Dr. assistance multiple times, still no one call me back.



I will continue fight for this and go public to warn people about this place.



No matter how good the Dr is, if they can bill right, no one will come back.

I have been going to the Jordan River Family Medicine Clinic for several years now. I have always enjoyed going there, I find the Doctors are approachable and most of the staff is as well. But i do have a MAJOR complaint about one of the receptionist that works there. She is not friendly and always seems to be put out by patients coming in. Never has a friendly demeanor about her, unlike a couple of the others there. The older gal that I believe is the office manager and one I always go to for her professionalism and up beat fun attitude. She is one of the reason i continue to go there. If You are headed in wait for her, her name is Kristin I believe. But back to the reason for this review. I am put off by the complete lack of professionalism shown by Nicole. I have heard of patients comment about her attitude and the way she makes people feel. She talks down to people and just seems uttelry unhappy at work. I have heard her talk negativly about her co-workers and Doctors. You can hear everything in the patient waiting area. If there is a reason for me to leave it would be her. I do not like dealing with this women at all..

I have followed Dr. Levine from practice to practice for the last 18 years. She is candid, funny and knowledgable. When no other doctor had clue one about what we were dealing with she got it first time out of the gate. I am fortunate that I have her as a doc.

I have no complaints with this office, the drs are outstanding. I simply LOVE Dr. Levine and Dr. Jones, the staff is fantastic friendly and helpful.

Dr. Levine place me on antidepressants knowing I had bad reactions to the last one and then refused to return phone calls when i was having bad side effects which led to an ER visit on a Friday night. When I saw her Saturday she became hostile when I disagreed with her diagnosis and called me bi-polar as if it were an insult, when I told her as a general practitioner I didn't find her in a position to make that diagnosis she became dismissive. I ended up walking out after waiting over an HOUR past my scheduled appt time to see her

I've had many doctors over the past 5 years due to problems nobody could diagnose. When I finally switched over to Dr. Storz and Dr. Julien, my health took an immediate turn for the better. They are so knowledgeable and caring- they are REAL healthcare professionals who practice from the heart. They are so flexible, and always try to do what is best for the patient- not their pocket books or schedules. I highly recommend this practice.

My wife and I started going to her when she just started in South Jordan, it was easy to get an appointment then, takes a little longer sometimes now. She is very thorough yet personable and takes her time to explain things. Only issue I have is, book early in the day she tends to get behind as the day goes on. I would recommend her.

The doctors are wonderful especially Dr. sojourner. she goes out of her way to explain stuff. I will definitely go back.

Dr. Heather Sojouner MD. at Jordan Family Medicine gets upset when you see another DR. within the clinic, then you get the silent treatment while you’re in the office of the new Doctor while being seen. My wife went in on Wednesday, August 25, 2010 for blood tests and her yearly physical with serious nausea and constipation issues. (Symptoms had lasted at this point over a week). At that time the receptionist did not cancel or even mention the appointment scheduled last February for August 27, 2010. Instead they called on Thursday, August 26th to remind her of the August 27th appointment. My wife questioned the receptionist about the appointment since she had been in the day before. At that time, the receptionist cancelled the appointment due the visit the day before.My wife then called on Tuesday, August 31, 2010 to get her test results. The receptionist put my wife on hold and came back to the phone and said Dr Sojouner was not going to be able to help her anymore, because s

Dr Sojourner is an excellent doctor. She takes excellent care of me and is very nice and understanding. She is super intellligent and goes out of her way to make sure that I am in good health and checks for everything to make sure that I stay that way.

I would recommend her to everyone.
