If I could give no stars, I would!!!! Rudest experience in my life! Yesterday, April 22nd I saw the TV commercial for the ACE Hardware - buy one get one free sale. I called the Rt. 22, Somerville, NJ, Post Ace Hardware store and spoke to a women who confirmed that the Roundup 365 in the gray and black container was included in this sale and the sale ended on Monday, April 23rd. She shared that one is the pump and the second free one was a refill container. This was fine by me! I made time in my busy work schedule to drive all the way to this store today, not close to where I work and once I get there, I place the pump container in my cart but did not see the refill bottle. An employee (so I thought) was in this area and asked for help. He shared that the Roundup 365 is not a part of the sale. I explained to him that I called this store yesterday, spoke to a women employee and specifically asked if this type of Roundup was a part of the sale and the store employee told me yes and that I drove pretty far to come here. He did not seem to care and said he said rudely that he would not honor it what his employee said. He rudely took containers out of my cart and paced it back on the shelf. As I was walking out, I asked to speak to the manager and he said he was the manager, so I knew this was a lost cause. Since he was so rude, I called Ace Hardware 866 customer service line and shared what happen. I explained my issue and they said they would call the store and speak to the manager. When the customer service women came back from hold, she explained that he was just as rude to her and found out he was the owner of the store. EVEN WORSE!! She said she would open and incident report and refer this to an ACE Hardware district manager. Not sure anything good will come of this except, I will NEVER shop at Rt. 22, Somerville, NJ, Post Ace Hardware!!!
