This is the worst place ever to call to get appointment. I call them four times to make a appointment and they never call me back all those times. They are all LIES. I have been trying to get in for a month. I am never step in that place and I am planning to never step in there. Worst customer services ever!!! Shoot WALMART get better services and they have a whole month for u to pick a day to come in.

There is no such thing as 18 dollars you can use your own framevwhich I bought from tgey they carged me anothe 78 to use them again that is wrong!

Buyer beware. Spend a few more dollars and get glasses you can wear.

I give them zero stars! The $18 eyeglasses place, what a rip off! My daughter bought me a pair of glasses off the internet which are cute, the only thing I didn't like was the lens were thicker than the usual. I went to the $18 eyeglasses place, thought I could get a paid of reasonably priced glasses with thin lens that's all I wanted was thin lens. The optician helped me pick out a pair of what she said were ".designer". I liked them and asked if I could get them with really thin lens and I showed her my regular glasses she said yes the ultra thin would do that. I had to pay half $170.00 up front, I told her OK and that I would not be happy if the lens were not thin. I went to pick them up and I was not happy because the lens were thicker I explained to the Optomatrist "this is not what I wanted or was promised and asked if they could have them made thinner she indicates yes for $200.00 more, now the glasses will cost $570.00...What! I told her that was not acceptable, and she should try to make her customer happy, I was told NO REFUNDS. Here are my options

1) I can let them keep the $170.00 I paid up front.

2)pay the other $170.00 to get the glasses I don't like ( I like the frames) (the lens are really thick that's what I don't like) and I was promised THIN LENS.

3) pay another 200.00 to get the thinner lens ( the optometrist NEVER mentioned this, because I would not have got them) JC Penneys is cheaper than $18 eyeglass place.

I'm 60 years old I don't have that kind of money for a pair of glasses. What would you do?????

Don't go there. The people they hire have no people skills. I went to pick up the glasses I ordered and they were crooked on my face. Judith said she didn't think they looked crooked but I said I could feel it and see it from the frame angle as I looked through them. She angrily took them back and instead of making them better, she made them more crooked, bad, like to mock me!

So of course I said “well now you made them more crooked, nice”

So she took them back again, straightened them a little, then told me there was nothing more she could do for me. I wanted my money back but she said she couldn’t do that, that I would have to call the owner, Robert Whitney. I did that and left several nice messages with NO RETURN PHONE CALL!

I find this to be horrible customer service and will never be back and mention this to everyone I know that wears glasses!

Before going to $18 Eyeglasses Place, check the Better Business Bureau website. They have an F rating. They responded to my complaints of ill fitting frames with "I guess you'll just have to be dissatisfied." The Bob Whitney who reviewed above is the owner, by the way.

I went there for my glasses. The service was really friendly and I could actually afford a spare pair in case my toddler broke them. I got an exam on site at an affordable price. When I need to get glasses again, I'm definitely going back here. :)
