Today I made a very difficult decision. For days ahead of time I spoke to crematoriums to find the right fit for our 16 year old life companion. Pet Haven talks a great sales pitch. Caring and Respectful. Everything a grieving owner wants to hear. I drove straight to their facility hoping for a seamless transition and closure for my angle. I arrived to an old single wide trailer with on outdoor fire pit. It looked like something out of a horror movie. I was physically sickened by what I saw. I drove straight to Wilmington, NC where we were treated with incredible professionalism and my angle was given the respect her little body deserved.

We just had to put down our 13 year old standard poodle and last spring our 14 year old standard. They were not dogs to us but members of the family. Pet Haven is not the most attractive place I have been but the respect our boys received helped fill that hole in our heart. The ladies at PET Heavn love animals and keep flowers on all the graves. I'm sure Beaufort and Charlie don't mind the trailer.

This past week, I had to put down my beloved 14 year old dog, and made arrangements ahead of time for Pet Haven to pick her up at my home. They were very sympathetic over the phone, and arrived at exactly the time arranged. They were very gentle and respectful in handling my pet, which of course was so important to me at that very difficult moment. They allowed me plenty of time to say goodbye, and were a great comfort to me. I read the other review and almost didn't use Pet Haven, but I am glad I decided to trust my Vet's recommendation instead. Their prices are so much more reasonable than anyone around, and I was very pleased overall. I would recommend them to any of my friends and fellow animal lovers!
