My son has progressive myopia that makes him high risk for retinal detachment. He has wore glasses for the past 4 years and his prescription was getting stronger each year. On top of that, with him being a boy and liking to play rough, we have had to replace his glasses often. Dr. Horac suggested we try ortho-k lenses to slow the progression and allow him to be free from wearing glasses. My son now has 20/20 vision without glasses and we have hopes that his risk of retinal detachment is lower.

We have moved from Marietta to Alpharetta but I will continue to drive the distance to see Dr. Horac.

I followed Dr. Horak, from Pearle Vision, to his new practice and have been extremely satisfied. The staff is always sooo pleasant to me and my kids (who can be a handful). Dr. Horak takes his time during each exam and I never feel rushed. Ebony is always helpful during the checkout process from figuring out payment to assisting with picking out frames. Everytime they've been very informative about my options and do not try to over sell me on a product. Coming to the private practice is a much better experience then when I was going to Pearle Vision, Dr. Horak was great there also, but the staff was not always as attentive.
