Incorporated in 1910, Boy Scouts of America is one of the United States' largest youth development organizations. It provides various programs for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship and develops personal fitness. Based in Slippery Rock, Pa., it serves 2.8 million young people between 7 and 20 years of age at more than 290 councils throughout the United States and its territories.
