On a Saturday evening (at 5:38 p.m. to be precise) I was refused roots touch-up job and told that a coloring job requires a 2 hrs minimum before closing...and was invited to make an appointment for the following day. There were 2 stylists present, one working on a men haircut, the second-who played receptionist was just done with a man haircut and spent 2-3 minutes saying goodbye, totally ignoring me standing by the front desk. The application of a color on the roots will not take more than 5 min, a processing time of 45 min added and the rinsing for another 5 min gives me a total of under one hour color job for $45.00 plus tip.

I went next door to Sallys, bought supplies for $7.58 and went straight home swearing under my breath.

I guess any experience is a lesson. Never again will I try to feel pampered and worth it by giving someone money for something I can easily do for myself.
