Top Notch Service Team: Went back to Dashboard because I had a problem with a short in my system after 3 years. They took the time to diagnose the problem and then inform me of my options to fix it. It ended up being the amp that was malfunctioning. I could have spent hours trying to track this down, I thought it was a wiring problem.
I appreciate the honesty and would like to thank Makensie for taking the time to figure this out for me and treat me like a concerned customer instead of just a number.
I would highly recommend Dashboard to anyone.

WON'T GO ANYWHERE ELSE!



Dashboard is very professional and very reasonable. Came in to get my self pre installed sound system taken care of by hiding the sub power line and not only did they take care of that, but the also rerouted my interior LED's and hid everything i couldn't!!! BUT WAIT!! The best part is that since it was pre installed, they worked with me but showing me step by step of what they were doing, asked questions on if thats how it would work for me and kept me in the loop the entire time. THEN! The original price of instalment is (dont quote me) $80ish, but only charged me $53!!!!!!! By far stole me from Audio P. and i have every intention of returning to these guys for more business VERY soon. Thanks Guys and keep up the excellent work!!

Dashboard is awesome!!

I have been doing business with karls and dashboard for about 10+ years now. I have had nothing but the BEST service form all of these guys. They always take care of me and any problem that has come up. All I did was go back and explain the issue and they fixed it right away. I brim all my friends and family there. Give them a try... I would not recommend this pla...

I would not recommend this place to my friend or even an enemy. I received very poor service by the manager Torin. He was very unprofessional not any help and did not fix the problem his installer failed to do. Billions was the one that originally took my vehicle there for a stereo install and when I got my vehicle back the wires where not fully connected so my back speakers would not work.

I have been there a lot over the last few months. They have been honest and helpful every time. The minute I walk in they are asking if I need help and returns are taken back without question. I went to APE and they tried to charge me $300 more for the same sub/amp/wiring kit than Karls waanted. Installation costs are the exact same price as Best Buy. You get quality workmanship and they back their work.

I used to dump tons of money into that place when I was a kid and new to audio. That place ripped me off repeatedly, offering a free install for a deck and then charging me for the install, telling me the reason I should pay three times the cost for their products vs online was for warranty: "we have guys that compete and they blow their subs at comps, bring them in, and they have new subs in 2 weeks. You can blow them all you want and we replace them for free". So when I blew my subs a couple times, after waiting 6 months for the subs to come back, I escalated. Sales rep., then Manager Torin Lodmell, then Karl's manager. Then district rep. The Karl himself. Then i went to the BBB and Attorney General's office. Then I sued them, they lied their asses off in court, and they won because of it. This was with Audiobahn product when they went down hill. Audiobahn wouldnt replace my subs. One of my amps screw terminals started to strip, to fix it they used aluminum tape! I then bought Kicker thinking the problem was just Audiobahn, but it was Dashboard as well. When i sued them they held a Kicker sub for three months until court was over, then sent it to me. During court they lied and said Audiobahn was great and they still represent them, but 3 weeks previous my friends were calling Dashboard for prices on Audiobahn and were told they didnt carry them anymore. They haven't sold Audiobahn since before my court date.





I tried to let bygones be bygones, brought more customers there within the last 2 years, they didn't say a word. I went there and got Term Labed, didn't say a word. I went in with a customer over a month ago...bringing them service...and they said they couldn't help me "because of what happened". I wrote Torin a letter, taking credit for my share of the situation, admiting I was a neieve kid, and apologizing. I still haven't heard back.

the only place to go in Sioux Falls

These guys are the best!!! I had a problem with my cd unit that was installed at another shop in town (Playground). They not only fixed the problem but did it in a very timely manner and charged me very little to fix the other guys mistakes!! hands down the best!!! Keep up the good work guys!
