After receiving her undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, she attended medical school at Virginia Commonwealth University. She went on to finish internal medicine training at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, then relocated to beautiful California to complete her cardiology fellowship and interventional cardiology training at UCLA.
