I do not know that this mother problem is!! I take my children to Dr. Bloom and he and his staff are fantastic with both of them. Even when my son use to throw-up, something he has now outgrow. My children LOVE to go for their check-ups. My son has needed fillings done and yes he did go in the back my himself, I know he will cooperate better if he is not looking at me to tell him what to do. I am not the dentist, just as when he is in school he must listen to his teacher not me. If they need me they come and get me. The front desk staff call to remind me of my appointments and the girls in the back are very good with the kids. I LOVE THEM!!!

Their staff is lazy at best and would not return my calls. They carry an attitude that is neither caring or supportive to children and their families. I also found it very disturbing that parents aren't allowed in the room during procedures. This day and age you can never be too careful especially when it comes to your children. I was also surprised that Dr. Bloom would place himself in such vulnerable position. He does have a monopoly as a pediatric dentist in the Sierra Vista area and so he can keep parents from their children without much consequence to his business. However just for peace of mind I will be taking my children to a dentist outside of the Sierra Vista area. I believe it will be well worth the extra gas and time. Based on my interaction with the staff and Dr. Bloom's policies I would not recommend this dentist to any parent.
