So I was really excited to go to Massage Envy Sicklerville location to get a 90 minute massage. This was my first time at a Massage Envy and first time for a 90 minute massage. I was told to arrive 15min in advance but because traffic was so bad, I got there 10min before my massage. The girl at the register asked me to fill out an electronic form, which I did with super speed and finished a few minutes before my massage was supposed to start. On the electronic questionnaire there were questions about what was bothering me and where I would like the therapist to focus on. Then, the girl at the register takes me to the back and starts asking me the SAME QUESTIONS that were on the electronic questionnaire. I couldn't understand why she would ask me the same questions. After I answered her questions, she says that now she will get my therapist. Okay, if you weren't giving me the massage, why are you asking me the same questions again?? The therapist takes another few minutes to come out, introduces himself as Vincent and then tells me that he will now go and check to see if the room is ready. WTF? Why didn't you check the room before your appointment??? Now it is past the time my massage was supposed to start. Way past!! He comes back after a couple of minutes to get me and take me to my room. He gives me instructions on where to leave my clothes, etc and leaves the room. I changed with super speed. When he finally came back to the room, it was now at least 22 minutes past my massage time. He finally gets started and yes, my massage was great but he talked my ear off. Then, about 5 min before the massage was over, he say, "Ohhhh, my stomach hurts. I had a cleansing tea earlier" OMG, I almost died and started praying he does not let gas pass in this tiny room!! Why would someone say that during a relaxing massage???? Then, when he finished the massage and was about to leave the room, I asked where the towel was and he responds, "I don't have one." Really??? This is a massage place and you don't have a towel? He says, "it's not my room" or something along that line. I said that I don't want to get my clothes all oily and need a towel. He grabs a dry towel and throws it on me. Now, I've had a couple of massages at Hand and Stone and I always received a nice, warm towel after my massage. This just left such a bad taste in my mouth. So, as I'm wiping myself off, I noticed the clock on the wall. I wear glasses and didn't notice the time before he left. I was SHOCKED that I ONLY GOT a 68 minute massage instead of 90 minute!!! Because my massage started so late, he should have added in extra time to the end of my appointment but he didn't. I was on time, filled out my forms quickly and even if they deducted a couple minutes for me to change, I was okay with that. But to get ripped off 22minutes!!! That is just not right. I was SOOO ANNOYED. When I got to the register, I told the girl who was ringing me up about how late my massage started and that I didn't get my entire 90 minute. She just apologized and still charged me the full amount. I will NEVER go back to Massage Envy if they are going to rip customers off.
