Provided by YP.comI normally don't bother to leave reviews, but I'm making sure to copy and paste this anywhere I can:
I called Flava for a Large side of cabbage (only) to add to what I was having for dinner, and I was told that they don't sell sides by themselves. I proceeded to ask for an alternative and was told that I had to buy a platter. I paused b/c 1) I didn't immediately believe such stupidity existed; and 2) I actually entertained the idea of buying a platter just to get the cabbage. Then I quickly came back to reality and ended the conversation. I'm only giving the 2 rating b/c the food is really good; but my mother has also experienced them not answering the phone during store hours - FYI. I won't address the prices b/c Caribbean food is notoriously overpriced, so theirs is no different. I will (eventually) be back b/c again, the food is great and b/c I try to make a conscious effort to support black businesses; but being met w/ such idiocy and pure ridiculousness sometimes makes it difficult.

Provided by YPmobileToday was my first time trying this place out and I enjoyed it very much. I plan on going back again. The only complaint I have is when I picked up my food that I called ahead, it wasn't hot like I thought it would be so I had to reheat it. But other than that I loved the flavor of my dish which was the jerk chicken.

Provided by YP.comI went to the restaurant because I was tired of chinese restaurants and I had business in the area. I received a table. To take my order the male host didn't have a pen, so he stretched the one tied to a string on the front desk and was standing half way between me and the front desk to write my order. Very unclassy but there was no other place close to eat.
I ordered water to drink, but he stated they didn't have any ice. I made a friendly suggestion that maybe he could get some from Wawa next door. He then began to explode, berating me with his angry words. I stated that it was a friendly suggestion. I then started walking to the door. He looked like he was about to assault me. He then started yelling, "Get out!!"
As if I wasn't already. He need not ever worry about me coming there. I always thought their food was unsavory, but I would take it home to season it.
I went there a few times in the past n everytime I go to Sicklerville. His lack of class and professionalism is a reminder of why I always opt to not go there. I'd rather travel the 15 minutes extra to go to Applebees or Outback steak house. At least I can eat in.
He obviously did not go to school to learn social skills or how to be a proper host.

Provided by SuperpagesWow, this place is great! First, we were greeted at the door by a very pleasant young lady with a warm smile...can't remember the last time that happened. Next, the atmosphere is very comfortable. pleasant music in the backround, pleasing decor, and as clean as a place could be.And, most important of all, the food was outstanding. Spicy wings, jerk chicken, catfish nuggets, and those sides...each of our sides was terrific. The prices were great, too. This nice experience was topped off with a very pleasant conversation with the owner, a gentleman named Peter. We can't wait to go back...our next visit will be with all the in-laws for the All-You-Can eat Sunday buffet. Flava Jamaican is highly, highly recommended.

Provided by SuperpagesTHIS IS ONE OF THE BEST JAMAICAN AND soul FOOD RESTAURANT I'VE EVER BEEN TO. WHEN YOU WALK INTO THE BUILDING, YOU ARE ACCOMPANIED BY WARMTH SMILES, SMOOTHING MUSIC AND FRESH AIR. ONE THING I LIKE ABOUT THEM IS THAT THE PRICE OF THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT, ALSO, YOU CAN CHOOSE WHETHER YOU WANT A SMALL OR LARGE PORTION AND YOU ALWAYS GET YOUR MONEY WORTH. THEY DEFINITELY TAKE CARE OF THERE CUSTOMERS ESPECIALLY THE REGUALARS. YOU HAVE TO CHECK THE DESIGNS AND COLORS OF THE RESTAURANT, YOU'LL LOVE IT. ANOTHER THING THAT I OBSERVED WHEN I GO IN THERE, IS THAT THEY KEEP UP TO STANDARD WITH THE FOOD SAFETY PROGRAM, EVERTHING IN THERE IS CLEAN AND THEY ARE TOO. TRUST ME WHEN I SAY, THIS IS NOT A TYPICAL JAMAICAN AND SOUL FOOD RESTAURANT, THE CONCEPT IS WAY MORE BETTER, IT'S CLEANER, YOU HAVE MORE TO CHOOSE FROM, THE PRICE IS CHEAPER,THE QUALITY OF THE FOOD IS BETTER,, THE PORTION IS GREATTTTTT FOR THE VALUE OF YOUR MONEY, SO PLEASE, GO VISIT AND FIND OUT FOR YOURSELF, I'VE TOLD YOU ENOUGH
