My experience with Anvil Iron Works located in Philadelphia, PA was extremely positive! The project was a two-step railing that my mother needed installed for her to be able to leave and return to her home without any risk of injury, which she had already recently experienced. I spoke to the owner Bill and immediately I felt that my project was as important to him as it was for me and my mother’s safety. After sending him photos of the steps, he scheduled an estimator to take measurements and in a promised time-frame, the beautiful wrought-iron railing was installed… and we are so pleased that it matched the existing 4-step railing near the front door. The customer service and quick response was superior! The quality of the work and craftsmanship is amazing! I am so happy we chose Anvil Iron Works to handle this project. A huge thanks to Bill and his valued team: Frank, John and Chris! I highly recommend this business to anyone who needs ornamental iron works.

As a final note, my mother is extremely pleased that she is now able to navigate safely to and from her home. Thank you so much, again!

Not only was it difficult to get an appointment, but Fran made it seem like I was really inconveniencing him. He felt that he could give me the quote over the phone after seeing it in person & I didn't need to be there. I returned his phone that evening and Fran was incredibly condescending and was actually yelling at me. He was upset that the concrete stairs had yet to be poured. He was aware before he came that the concrete forms were up, and that the stairs would not be poured until later that week. There should be no reason why he could not get his measurements from the forms. I told him that I didn't appreciate his tone, and that I'd rather not have his company do the work for us. I have never been treated like that by anyone trying to get business. They must not be in a need for business is all I can think of. This happened over a month ago and I still can't believe he could treat a potential customer like that. Save yourself the time and look elsewhere for Iron work.
