They actually deserve a 0 star rating! Beware of misleading sales pitch!!! When purchasing our LG Plasma TV in January of 2011 they asked if we wanted a 2 year EXTENDED warranty which we said yes. Here its March 11,2013 and there's a streak running down our screen . To much of my surprise when calling the warranty company they said our warranty expired January 13, 2013. I said we have a total of 3 years on our warranty. The 1 year manufacturer warranty and following that our 2 year EXTENDED warranty so we should have another year. Long story short after a long afternoon and a variety of phone calls including a LG service tech who agreed the 2 year EXTENDED warranty should start after the manufacturer warranty, Ivan Smith said the EXTENDED warranty starts the day of purchase. Are you kidding me??? Who in their right mind would purchase a warranty on top of a manufacturer warranty not us if they took time to explain and be truthful instead of misleading their customers. Thank goodness for the LG service tech we may have to drive 2 hours to fix the TV but he said he would try to get with others at LG to solve our problem.
