I've been taking my pets (dogs and cats) to the Shorewood Animal Hospital for more than 15 years. The service was impeccable, BEFORE adding in associate vets. There is, in my opinion, only one good vet there. I will NOT mention his name, but he has been there and taking care of my pets all these years. When I am unable to acquire his services, and subsequently get another vet to care for my pets, it is then that I have poor service with an assembly-line attitude. Two examples are as follows: when my dog was neutered, no one talked to me when I arrived to pick him up. Just pay and leave. He suffered greatly for two days and nights. He was not given a cone, antibiotics or even pain killers. When I called to get help, I was referred to an all night emergency facility. Example #2: my cat was put to sleep in Oct. of 2012. It was heartless and cruel. Two "so-called" vets could not inject her and I watched her suffer for over an hour. My husband and I finally DEMANDED for the OTHER vet, who was too busy to help us, even though he and he alone took care of her for her entire life. After the other vets could not do what needed to be done, they called him in and he took our cat away and brought her back deceased. It was cold, heartless and I am looking for a new vet clinic.

I had been a client of Shorewood animal hospital for almost 20 years. I recently brought my sick 3yr old dog in & they could'nt find nothing wrong with him.After several visits & they still could tell me nothin the dog died a very painfull death.(I also asked for pain pill which I wasn't given).Tell me how a dog that young can die of nothing.To make matters worse they never even called to see how the dog was doing.I will never take another dog or animal to them again.My neibor also had a bad experience with Shorewood and has sworn them off.If anyone cares about their animal as much as I did then PLEASE find another vet!!!
