Laurel Cove Community is a newly renovated Independent, Assisted and Memory Care Community in Shoreline. Two and a half years ago, in December of 2017, the Sante corporation purchased Anderson Plaza, which was part of the Anderson House community. Over the course of the next year, the retirement facility was completely remodeled, and a Memory Care Unit and enhanced Assisted Living services were added. The two reviews below are for the skilled nursing center that was a part of the Anderson House community.

Do not believe any five star reviews--they're fake. This is a horrible facility that should be shut down. It is particularly dangerous for cognitively impaired people who can't communicate as well. They killed my father by 1) prescribing stool softener, not D/C the order for it, causing diarrhea in his diaper for over a week causing sepsis and death 2) prior to his death allowed him to fall from bed, hit head, sitting on floor a long time before ER 3)complete chaos and disorganization, staff running around w/ no communication system, patients abandoned. Rude to my family and we couldn't keep him alive even with round th clock presense there to try to protect his health. YOUR LOVED ONE COULD WELL DIE IF ADMITTED. BEWARE

Anderson House was everything I hoped for after my back surgery. The staff were wonderful, sweet and very caring. The Physical Therapists worked with me to overcome my problems and regain mobility. The food was delicious and plentiful. Everyone was cheerful and positive. I'm very grateful to Anderson House for their care.
