The appetizers here are pretty good, but the selection of entrees on the dinner menu was limited. The various arcade machines were cool, but I was expecting more of a variety (board games, etc.). A few of the arcade games that I played on the machines had a lag, which was a little disappointing. Overall, I would come back with friends for happy hour to enjoy a few games.

Love arcades and not a kid? This is it - really interesting appetizers and food in this bar setting - plus an arcade in the back with 400+ choices on the multi-play machines. Prices are a bit high, but the games are free along with that. Parking is unfortunately valet only pretty much in this area, but I enjoyed the One Up for a recent birthday bash with the back reserved

Their menu is amazing - such good food! Gastro pub without being too pretentious. Ambiance is cool, and the free games are nice - there are some meh options, but a few really cool, old school games, too.

From the food (all delectable), to the service (super friendly), to the free video games in the back (secure the pong early or it will be claimed for the rest of the night), we all really enjoyed our night here, and will be sure to make it back in again.

One thing to be aware of before-hand, is that (like many places in LA now) they won't seat a partial party. In a city with such bad traffic, this is an annoyance, especially when you're the first person there, so plan ahead and don't be late, or someone will have to drown their early-bird status at the bar.

Our group had & shared: The goat cheese tots (ermegerd), burger sliders, bruschetta, garlic fries, jerked chicken, & hush puppies. All got high scores, and no complaints were voiced. I tasted a little of most of that and liked it all.

Parking can be found on the right side-streets & at meters, but valet is avail for $5. Look for the Spaced Invaders lit logo, east of Woodman, on the north side of Ventura
