If you are a consumer who prefers to pay via credit card or online, this may not be the business for you. They offer a discount to those paying a bill within 10 days – unless you pay by credit card; then the early payment discount is not an option. Also, payments made by card online are not routinely posted. In my own case, a bill paid a week prior to the deadline via the company’s website and online payment system resulted two weeks later in my receiving a late payment notice with a $10 finance charge added. When I visited the office I was told “we don’t check online payments very often.” In addition to such ineptness, the office staff is also less than business friendly.
