We had a fire at our property which totaled the garage and the addition to property, we had hired an other contractor (Gallagher Construction) to do the job, which did not do the job and subcontractor Hammer It to finish the job.

I was so happy to have the job finshed. I wasn't able to go in and inspect his job because the property was being sold on contract. The owner told me it was a good job so I paid them. Big Mistake, the owner moved out and I was then able to see the quality of the work, a bad handy man could have done better quality job. knowing it had been two years and had been paid in full, I just had to write it off as a learned experience!

Then this last November we had pipes burst in the property. I went on the Internet looking for any one but those two contractors. I called Hass Construction in Freeport IL. left a message for them to call me back. Hass called me back, but it wasn't Hass it was HAMMER IT! I told him just what I thought of his work, then he said he wanted to make it right. I gave him the code to the property so he could give me a quote on the current damage and to take a look at the work his guys had done two years ago! Guess WHAT? I never got a call back! Do what you think is good for you, but I WON'T EVER HIRE HAMMER IT!
