DISAPPOINTED! I was greeted by a man, thought he was friendly, but quite loud & talked to people on other side of the shop the whole time. The girl was rough & glared at me when I jumped in pain. She was roughly digging & clipping around the sides of my toenails. After polishing, I noticed that a section on the side of my nail wasn't polished. I then saw she had cut the side of my nail 1/2 way back through my nailbed. I asked if that going to in grow? She said, "I don't know." The man came over, defending his "wife". Telling me it was like that when I came in. I told him it wasn't & I've never had it cut like that before. "She had to do that because you have mold under there." He was very loud & everyone in the shop could hear him. There wasn't much to be done about my missing nail, so I let it go but was upset that he was defending her even before he saw what I was talking about & hadn't seen my toes before. I went to pay, he said it was $28. I had the basic pedi listed at $27, so I asked why. He said, "That's how we do things here." He was loud & curt, not explaining why it was more than listed on the price sheet. On the way in he had said, "Oh, you brought your own polish, that will save you money." Now says, "I was joking." But why more than listed? She had used a pink buffer/file on me & gave it to me a plastic bag. He said, "You got the bag." I didn't need or want the bag & would have appreciated knowing that before she used it. "That's how we do things here. We don't reuse anything." I know that's not true because they didn't send me home with the brush or scrubber used. He was very loud & kept saying, "You have mold under there." At this point, I think he was trying to embarrass me. He didn't even try to make things better. He actually made it worse by defending her & talking so loudly. He said, "Bring it back with you next time." I told him I wouldn't be back. "Well, you're welcome to try other places if you like." Will NEVER be back. Very unprofessional!
