Animals that are primarily cared for include dogs, cats, birds, pocket pets, goats, sheep and swine. Services include but are not limited to preventative health care, diagnostics, internal medicine and surgery, geriatric pet care, emergency response and prescription delivery. Previous veterinary experiences include companion animal practice in Hawaii, work with zoo animals in the Midwest and veterinary research in East Africa.

Dr. Atwood treats both pets @ our home. I have an old dog and a cat with a disability. I appreciate her kindness & patience. She allows my cat to settle down before giving her less-able foot a nail trim. Great service and competitive prices.

Dr. Atwood was kind enough to give me a second opinon regarding my cats quality of life. It was recommended that I put him down or remove his colon by the first Vet. treating him. Dr Atwood ran a series of tests and found numerous problems that we addressed along with a change of diet. He has been healthy now for over two years "no problems" and medication free. Dr.atwood now cares for all my animals..
