Max Performance Supplements opened its doors January 26 2009 with our Jessup location. The vision was to provide high quality supplements at everyday low prices. As a private retail store we can provide a more personalized service to accommodate a wide variety of needs. We are not just for body builders as we carry vitamins, minerals, healthy foods, and more. The days of walking in to a retailer feeling intimidated are over. The goal is for you the consumer to be confident with your selection from our store. We do not believe in pushing one brand or product just to boost commissions. Our knowledgeable staff will help guide you along and ensure your shopping experience is fast and informative. Max Performance Supplements was started after owner Matt Palillo finished a deployment to Afghanistan. While overseas he and fellow soldiers had a shortage in Country and began seeking ways to get items in a timely manner. After 6 months more than 100 soldiers were able to select items they wanted right there in Afghanistan. Upon arriving home that is when the idea to open up a retail store finally came to form. We now have two conveniently located stores throughout the greater Scranton area (Jessup and Scranton).
