Love This Place!!!!

My high maintenance Yorkie goes to "doggie day care" 3 days a week at Shear Pet Elegance and has been doing this for almost 4 years now. (I know...trust me...I know...)But in my defense, Tigi is a ROCKSTAR and needs to be treated as such. Tracy, the owner, is my hero. I trust her 100% with Tigi and have no worries when I drop her off in the mornings. Tracy loves animals to the core, and it's very apparent to anyone that does business with her. And don't think the dogs can't sense that. Tigi loves her more than I do.There is also a full grooming center. Tabitha the groomer pimps out the notorious T.I.G. when she's looking a little less than camera ready, and I have been using her for 4 years as well. Awesome. In addition to daycare and grooming, I've used their overnight, cage-free boarding service. That's right, no kennels! And there is always someone with the dogs.Shear Pet Elegeance, also known as PAWS Salon, is nestled in cozy old town just across from the Valley Ho.I LOVE,

Such a fun place!

I have recently started taking my dog Walter here (it was reccommended to me by a co-worker). This place is great! Wally got to run around with his new friends all day while I was at work. It was just fantastick, not to mention he was pooped by the time I got him home :) Great experience overall. Thank you Tracy, and all of the PAWS employees, for making my dog feel like family.

Thank goodness for a place like PAWS

Buddy has been going to PAWS since he was a puppy over 4 years ago and he has had only wonderful experiences there. I started taking him to PAWS to provide an environment where Buddy would grow up to be socially integrated. With the help of Tracy, her staff and her pets and clients, Buddy is now volunteers with the Hospice of the Valley's Pet Connections program visiting dying patients around the valley. He still is a regular visitor to the doggy day care program and the grooming service. I am really grateful that there is such a convenient and safe place for him to spend his time when I cannot be with him. Thank you Tracy for being in the neighborhood.

amazing

Have had nothing but an amazing experience with PAWS Salon. they are in touch with the needs of there customers, and appriciate the love everyone has for thier pets. they focus on cage free overnight stay with 24 hour supervised care. they make sure that your dog is always looked after personally and that someone sleeps with the dogs while you are on vacation. I perfer my dog to have a vacation while I am on vacation, and this facility gives me the opportunity to have that experience. thank you for exisiting when no other facility in the valley provides this kind of care.

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!

On January 12th I took my cat Sally to PAWS SALON in Scottsdale. A few hours later I received a call from TRACY telling me that Sally got “nicked” during grooming. TRACY then began making excuses for the “nick” stating that Sally was skinny, that she has “thin skin” and she was “fussy”. Later TRACY blamed the clippers. At home I opened the carrier and Sally LIMPED out. She had several large gashes on her right rear leg. I also discovered numerous severe cuts over her chest, stomach, sides and inner legs. The whiskers on one side of her face were cut off. I called TRACY, she was unapologetic. The injuries were so severe that my vet had to use surgical glue to close the cuts.Photo’s of Sally’s injuries by PAWS SALON in SCOTTSDALE are available upon request through [email protected]

Worst Place for Day Care!

Tracy the Owner is one of the most coldest people I have come across and I am so glad that I found another place to take my dog up in North Scottsdale. She has her dogs roaming reception - and they are not tiny dogs. I once had to have a conversation with her through the door because she refused to put her dogs away. She is not a business woman and again, she is very icy and cold. The area that dogs play in usually is over crowded and usually has office equipment in the same room. She is plain miserable to deal with!

This Review Should Serve as a WARNING!!

On January 12th I took my cat Sally to PAWS SALON at 6830 E. 5th Ave. in Scottsdale for her grooming and lion cut. I should point out that Sally will be 15 years old on Easter Sunday and has been getting groomed for over 10 years and is very accustomed to the procedure, even the bath. When I left Sally with TRACY PATZMANN, the owner, I was told she’d be done in a couple of hours. A few hours later I received a call from TRACY telling me that Sally was done but that she got “nicked” during the grooming. At that point I wasn’t concerned. However, as the conversation progressed TRACY began making excuses for the “nick” stating that Sally was skinny (she weighs close to 11 pounds) that she has “thin skin” (?????) that she was “fussy,” and eventually blaming the blade in the clippers. When I picked her up the shop was busy and she was already in her carrier, I paid the bill and left. When I got home I put the carrier on the floor, opened the door and Sally came LIMPING out. She had several
