Of all the mediocre companies my Home Warranty companies have sent, Higginbotham & Son was the first and only qualified and honest company to service our home. My experience with this company has been nothing but outstanding!!! They are fast, honest, reliable and simply the BEST.

When my AC broke my warranty c...

When my AC broke my warranty company told me to contact this company. It turned out to be THE WORST customer experience ever!!! Their tech showed up on Monday with a hard start kit that did not work. The tech then said they would need to order a new compressor. Initially I was told that part would be installed on Wednesday. Wednesday came and went and no one showed up and no one called. I spoke with the girl that answers their phone who told me she was new and had given me and the warranty company the wrong info, but that the repairs would be completed Friday. Friday came and went and no one showed or called. I attempted to call the company, but they had a recording on and I could not get hold of anyone there. After several more calls to my warranty company and me finally losing my temper and insisting that this needed to be fixed a tech finally called me late Saturday afternoon, came to the house and installed - another hard start kit. That fix worked and the tech left. So why was I told the unit needed a compressor?

I DO NOT recommend this company to anyone. They are impossible to get a hold of, make promises they don't keep, outright lied to my face. They are unreliable, have lousy customer service and don't care about their customers.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!Was told to use Higginbotham & Son by home warrenty to correct a broken thermostat. At intial call, tech came out, spent 10 minutes, stated the obvious (that the thermostat was broken) and said he didn't have the correct thermostat in his truck. A different tech would be by the next day to install. The following day, I called to see what time they were coming to install and the receptionist rudely informed me that the tech shouldn't be telling people that they would be by the next day and that she had no appointments for me. She got me on the schedule for Friday and told me to call in the morning to see what time I could expect them. The next day, I called at 10am and was told a tech would be by between 1 & 5 Pm. Here is the timeline of my calls:4:45PM-called and was told tech would call with a time update5:30PM-called and was told tech was stuck on a call & would be in touch6PM-called and was told dispatch can't reach tech now but toom my name & number and said tech or manager would call me6:45PM-called & was told they were still trying to reach the tech (keep in mind this is their emergency service line)7:20PM-called & was told "they were doing their best" I asked what time I could expect the tech, would he show up at 10PM, or were they just giving me the run around since it's been almost 8 hours of waiting, was rudely responded too the following "I don't know what time the techs get off but you should be safe to go to bed by 10pm". I asked the dispatcher to send my info to the manager again and hung up.745PM-called, asked to be connected to a supervisor, ended up already having spoken to this person, who couldn't explain why no one had called or where the tech was and if they were in fact coming to the house, but could only forward my info and I asked that someone call in the morningSaturday-no one called, I called the company & they said a tech should be calling (it's now 4:15PM, no phone calls from the company) Worst customer service ever!

Will NEVER use service again!

Two hours late after waiting 8 hours for service call. Part to fix a/c would take 7 days to be delivered, 5 days later find out part had not yet been ordered. Owner indigent and rude when asked if something could be done soon (heat advisory) to fix the a/c unitCalled new a/c company and had the unit up and running in less than 3 hours from entail contact
