Horrible customer service.Maybe they treat you better without Groupon.I thought I'll try it since it's right by my house.I paid 59 for package of highlights cut and style.I was given bad color bad cut and no styling.When told her that it's way too dark i was told that it will wash out. Zero effort to make a customer happy.Don't go there.

I shouldn't give any star but I didn't have the option. The owner doesn't have idea what is costumer service and she is rude without class. I schedule an appointment for a special event I'll have in the city and not only they had me waiting for more than 45 min. When I pointed about I won't make it not only I didn't received the service I was treated so bad. Never had that experience before in any of the salons I had the opportunity to be!

My experience with this place was just horrible..they became my new #1 worst salon ever. I will try to make it short but there are so many things that were just...wrong.

I used a groupon for a color, cut and conditioning treatment. Chris, my stylist, didn't listen to what I wanted, turned my hair a brassy orange, knew I was dissatisfied and didn't offer a way to rectify the problem. Instead she imposed an additional fee that was in violation to the groupon agreement without asking. What's worse is that everyone in the salon could tell I was miserable but no one said anything. I was so ready to bolt that I told her she didn't even need to style my hair just dry it enough that I wouldn't get sick. She dried the hair around my face (I have naturally curly hair) and couldn't even straighten it with a flat iron. If I can use a flat iron better than a professional, something is seriously wrong.



The other stylists seemed capable and friendly just AVOID CHRIS!

Bought a groupon first time going to this salon, Had great experience, loved the atmosphere and LOVED my hair. I WILL tell my friends and I will be back:)

I rarely ever write reviews on businesses, but I felt I needed to tell my story in this case. Well, I went to Cove Hair Salon on a Groupon offer. "$29 for an $80 value." The website looked nice and from what I could tell, it was a decent place. I digress. The staff seemed reasonably friendly at first. Walked in without an appointment and only had to wait 15 minutes. Maybe that should have been a warning sign.. (reminded me of Great Clips). Well, to begin the hair cutting process the hair dresser took me over to the sink to wash my hair. What she ended up doing was throwing my head around forcefully as she rubbed in shampoo. I always remember getting my hair washed by someone feeling good, this I couldn't wait for it to be over. Then she takes me back to the hair cutting chair after "washing and conditioning" my hair, if you can call it that, and jerks my head around some more with the comb. I guess I have somewhat knotty hair, but this lady was the furtherest from delicate. The entire time I was thinking, is this what she does to people all day? I felt so uncomfortable. Probably the worst part was how hard she dragged the fine tooth comb on my neck trying to trim the back bottom section. I almost out loud said "OW." This lady even degraded me by telling me my hair smelled like chlorine. I haven't been swimming in months. So I'm like, well... thanks? For all I know it could have been her water. But then to top off this entire experience, even though I had told her in detail that I was looking for a MINIMAL trim.. that I didn't even want to notice that I had gotten it cut. (It's my money, just do what I ask. You get paid the same either way). Well, she took off TWO inches. Kept trying to "even it out" and I felt like getting up and running out of there but I figured it was almost over. I get home and look in the mirror, it's clearly longer on the left side and I don't want to even it out because my hair will be even SHORTER. But I obviously have no choice. I would never go back to this place nor ever recommend it.
