I will give this SmartStyle hair salon a 2 star rating because one; they cannot do CRAP with long, thick hair. I asked for a V-shaped, layered cut. The process took about half an hour, but the end result was awful. My hair is now looks like a layered cake. The lady also asked me if I wanted my hair blow-dried and I said why not. They charged me three extra bucks just to blow dry my hair. Apparently that was too complicated for the stylist to cut. So if you have long thick hair and need it cut please look elsewhere.
On the other hand, they gave my boyfriend a decent haircut.

I've been to many hairstylist over my 68 years and this is the first place I've ever gone where I've seen three different stylist and all were able to do my cut the way I like it!! I wear my hair short with a with a length on top to spike. Other places I've been treat me like a senior citizen and even though I am one I want what I want and this place does it for me.

They only know the most basic cuts, and even then it's underwhelming. My boyfriend got a haircut and wanted it faded down the sides, but the stylist either didn't care or didn't remember because it was just straight lines. I had to try my best at home to fix it with his personal clippers. As for me, I tried to get a layered cut while growing my hair out, and the same woman (I will not give names) just cut it all evenly and over an inch off the bottom. It's cheap, but you only get what you pay for.
