Desperate from my last haircut experience, I looked online for a salon, made an appointment with Jen.Great haircut (that is saying something, it seems it is always hard to find)She listened to my concerns but also gently steered me to what would look good for me. I got the haircut that I wanted taylored for me and my kind of hair, and am pretty happy.

Amy has been cutting my hair for years. I have thick difficult hair to manage with a wave. It is very difficult to find someone who can cut this type of hair so the hair lays right. This summer Amy recommended a Brazilian Blowout and I LOVE IT! It's worth every sent. I had the best hair this hot humid summer and it was easy to manage. I drive over an hour for my appointment with Amy. She is funny and very talented. I am in my 50's and she is by far the best stylist I have ever been to.

I've been going to Tanya (co-owner) for years! The whole staff is friendly and outgoing, there's always good music playing, and the stylists don't pressure you to talk if you don't want to. You're always greeted with a smile! Since I've only worked with Tanya, I can only say what I think about her. SHE'S WONDERFUL! THe first time I went to her, she took a couple minutes to get to know my hair (very long, very thick, kinda curly) and i told her how I usually style it, how it reacts to humidity, and what I would like it to look like. She got it perfect! The layers were subtle, she thinned out my hair (i felt so light afterwards!), and she straightened it after wards, told me how to style it like this. I was amazed! Later, when I asked for blunt across bangs, she took into account how they would look when they grow out, and cut them accordingly. Once again, PERFECT! I'm so happy with her, the service, and the detail-oriented service that the whole staff provides! Also, the couch is very comfortable while you're waiting and there's tons of magazines, hair books, and even entertainment for children! Wonderful wonderful place.

I have had so many bad hair cuts in the last 30 years of my life it is awesome that I have found someone who consistently does such an excellent job. In fact she does such a good job I drive all the way from Peoria, many times just to get my hair cut. In the time I have known Heather on numerous occasions she has gone completely out of her way to meet me at the shop and fit me in for a cut, even after hours! In closing you will not find a more rounded salon in Central, IL, Limited Edition Hair Studio is where it's at!!!! Keep up the EXCEPTIONAL work Ladies!

I've been getting my hair done by Amy Shields,the owner of Limited Edition, for 12 years. She and her staff have always been professional, friendly, and very skilled. I highly recommend this salon for anyone looking for a new stylist.

I've been a client at LE since it opened and love the professional yet comfortable atmosphere of the stylists and shop. I'm a guy who has tried a number of different styles over the years and I trust these stylists to be up to date on trends with great ideas for what works with my hair. I've been to barbers before and had one to many cuts that I feel I need to wear a hat for the next two weeks! Never here. I've since moved out of the area but will make a trip especially to have my hair styled by Jenn here.

I came to Jenn with hair that was straight, long and had chlorine buildup from swimming. But now its amazing! It now has perfect layers and length to flatter my face. Jenn gave me the right products to keep my hair healthy and protected from chlorine. She taught me how to do lots of different styles with my new cut. I can have a new style everyday of the week. I LOVE IT!!!

I came to Jenn with a bad cut from a previous salon. She really took the time to listen to my needs and I ended up with the perfect hair cut and color for my busy lifestyle. Jenn's extensive knowledge and ease to talk with gave me the confidence to try a new cut. She took all the time I needed to show me how to style my hair at home. The stylists at LE are professional and experienced. I have been getting my hair cut and colored by Jenn for many years now and have been very happy. She listens to what I want and gives me great feedback on how a certain cut would look on me based on my face shape, hair texture, etc. I always get compliments after a cut and color with Jenn. Great!!

I love this salon. Have tried several since being in the area and have now been going to Tonya for about four years. I live in Mahomet and it is definitely worth the drive to have my hair done by professionals.

Gave me too many layers and a choppy cut, when I asked them to look over it again and fix it the owner was very rude.

I am new to the C-U area and after trying two of the the top-rated salons, I happened upon Limited Edition and Kristie. What a difference she made! I have naturally curly hair and it's hard to find someone who can cut it right. Kristie had her work "cut" out for her due to the really bad haircuts I had received previously. It took two trips to get it shaped but now it looks and feels great. I plan on staying with her as long as she cuts hair.

Best place in Champaign-Urbana! I went to BJ's for two years before I discovered Limited Edition. No comparison! Limited Edition is great! The sylists take time to truly listen to what you want and what would look best on you. Communication is great! This should be your first stop in trying a new salon!
