Domestic Violence and Rape Crisis Services of Saratoga County (DVRC) has been providing services to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault in Saratoga County for over two decades. Counseling: We offer issue oriented, individual counseling for victims of sexual assault. Call for an appointment. We are generally able to see you within one day of your phone call, and often are available the same day. We make every attempt to accommodate your availability, if you need to be seen at a certain time/day let us know. Sexual Assault Forensic Exam: The forensic exam is performed by specially trained nurses who gather evidence which may be used in prosecution if the victim presents to the hospital within 96 hours of a sexual assault. Case Management: Our case management department exists to help ease the many needs you may be facing. Our services include, but are not limited to; housing and employment assistance, Department of Social Services assistance, help accessing medical providers, and assistance accessing other necessary services.
