Went here this afternoon on a friend's recommendation, but you were closed until 4. Your website says "11-9". Please update! I was disappointed after a long drive. ����

While not a great eat-in place since the atmosphere is little more than cafeteria-like and small, the food is excellent Italian fare. The lasagna is very thick and meaty and the pizza is better than most in Sarasota. The portions are generous. It is a little pricey, but the food is worth it.

Have been going to Valentinos since it opened. The food has always been good, but there is a very rude waitress. Not sure of her name, but she is kind of tall with longer dark hair, dark complected with kind of a bony face. We have stopped going there because of this waitress, whom is there most of the time. It's a shame because the food was good.

when they first opened up, they were great. their quality has faded, however. i had gotten a few pies last time and they were stacked on top of one another so that the cheese stuck to the inside of the top of the pizza box. maybe more than one of those little plastic spacer thingies might help.another time, i had gotten a few slices of ziti pizza to take out. when i got home, i found that the ziti was dry and hard.the wait service is not that great, either. the waitresses disappear on you or they are talking on their cellphones in view of the dining room.all in all, i would say that i have been there about a dozen times over the past year and a half or so that they have been there, but i think it might be a while until i go back again.
