What to do when a shabby bank 'out East' gets put on the Sarasota market? Restore it. And then? Fill it with locally sourced Caribbean and Creole flavors and transform it into the first locally owned, mom and pop seafood restaurant in the neighborhood. Then â?? as a final note â?? name it something a little outlandish like Madfish Grill.

Awesome Food and Reasonably Priced

This restaurant had a "2 Dine for $30" deal that was great. EACH of us got an appetizer, entree and drink (wine, soda or tea). I had the daily fish special which was cooked to perfection. The wife had steak & asparagus and she said it was great too. We split a very tasty dessert too. I don't live in Sarasota, but if there are other Madfish Grills out there, I'm there. If not, I'll be back during my next visit to Sarasota.
