I took my pricey 30" Samonsite rolling suitcase to Eddie's to fix a broken wheel. Eddie said he could repair it. After 2-3 weeks it was ready. He had replaced the small black wheel and casing with a beat up old green wheel - much larger than the other 3. He cautiously rolled the now lopsided case across his carpeted floor to the register. When I turned the suitcase over to check the repair, I was astonished & told him so. He then LIED TO ME, saying that the wheel for my piece was no longer available & this was the best he could do. As I wheeled it out of the store & onto the parking lot, the wheel did not turn & it did not roll properly. When packed, it didn't roll at all. I took this to another luggage repair. They promptly made a proper repair. I went back to Eddie, showed him the case & asked for my $37.45 refunded. HE REFUSED. He said I should've come back to him to fix it. HE DID SHODDY WORK, LIED TO ME, GAVE MORE BULL, & REFUSED A REFUND. THAT'S ABOUT AS CROOKED AS IT GETS.
