Chris is a problem solver. He worked quickly on our issues. He offered design ideas for our consideration that improved the quality of our project. He worked effectively with the local permitting agency, which resulted in our achieving our end objective, a permit for our project in minimum time.



One of Chris's valuable contributions is in understanding how the requirements of various departments overlap, sometimes in ways punitive to the applicant. He kept us legal and helped us save cost.



To some extent, the design that Chris proposed in the plan we submitted went beyond county requirements. We agreed that was a wise trade-off versus a prolonged debate with the application reviewers and further delay to the project. His strategy worked.



Although we had not budgeted for this expense, we felt that the fees for his service were reasonable, especially viewed against the total cost of preparing an approvable design and the leg-work in achieving sign-offs for the permit.
