I see a pattern here! Two other reviewers here took the words right out of my mouth! You get sucked into Walter Claudio because of some hype, then find it is way overpriced and way way under quality. Just like other reviewers, Walter ruined my hair and callously avoided responsibility. I called Aveda to intervene and they said they have no control over the Aveda salons. Guess he can just get by with whatever he wants because despite the people who are unhappy there are plenty of others brought in by the hype. I guess my only recourse would have been to take him to small claims court--but who has the time for that?!

What an EXPENSIVE mistake!! I selected this salon because of the HYPE. I was prepared to pay (gulp) over $300 for a beautiful color and cut. BIG MISTAKE: they gave me a really bad haircut and an even worse highlight and when I reluctantly came back for them to attempt to fix it, they didn't apologize for turning me into a troll and their "repair" made it even worse! Had to shell out another $125 to have another beauty salon make me half way presentable. I looked better before I ever set foot in this nightmare of a salon. RUN, RUN LIKE THE WIND TO ANY and I mean ANY other salon but this one.

this salon is known to be THE BEST salon and spa in santa barbara. These people are trianed professionals and not some amateur at fantastic sams. These people do hair the RIGHT way. Yes, they may be a bit pricey coming in on a hair cut at $25.00 but its all worth it at the end.

Great service with great hair. I loved it. I highly recommend it.
