Sandwich Middle School, located in Sandwich, Ill., is one of the premier public schools in Dekalb County. Governed by the Sandwich Community Unit School District 430, it teaches classes from six through grade eight, and enrolls more than 600 students. The school provides a wide range of activities and programs, including band and chorus, history club, student council, peer mediation, outdoor activities, and field trips. Sandwich Middle School also offers various athletic activities, such as soccer, volleyball, cross-country, basketball, track and field, wrestling, and proms. The school provides an intensive program for every student and extensive curriculum that follows state standards and district guidelines. Sandwich Middle School has school nurse, guidance counselor, media center, computer and science labs, cafeteria, and library.
